Disclaimer & Disclosures

Last updated: 12 June 2026

Welcome to MarketingForFools.com. I’m glad you’re here – but before you run off to launch that ad campaign, buy a toolkit, or rename your brand, let’s get a few things straight.

1. No professional advice (seriously)

The content on this website is based on my 25+ years of experience in FMCG, retail, and marketing. I share real-world lessons, strategies, and opinions.

But here’s the thing:
Your business is not my business. What worked for me (or my past employers) might not work for you. Markets change. Audiences differ. Even the best advice is just advice – not a guarantee.

Nothing on this site constitutes professional legal, financial, or business advice. For specific decisions, please consult a qualified lawyer, accountant, or marketing professional who knows your unique situation.

You are responsible for your own actions. I’m just the fool with a keyboard.

2. Results not guaranteed (including paid products)

I may offer toolkits, playbooks, checklists, templates, or other digital products for sale on this website. These products are created based on my real-world experience and designed to save you time, reduce mistakes, and give you a structured starting point.

However:
Purchasing a product does not guarantee specific results – no sales numbers, no ROI, no business growth. Your success depends on your execution, industry, audience, and many factors beyond my control.

All products are provided “as is” for informational and operational guidance only.

3. Refund policy for digital products

Due to the digital nature of toolkits, playbooks, and checklists (instant download, non‑returnable), all sales are final unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

If you experience a technical issue or file corruption, contact me and I’ll happily replace the file. I want you to walk away feeling like you got value – but I cannot offer refunds because you changed your mind, didn’t use the toolkit, or didn’t see immediate results.

(If a specific product has a different refund policy, it will be clearly stated on the sales page.)

4. External links

I sometimes link to other websites, tools, or resources I genuinely find useful. However, I do not control those sites and am not responsible for their content, privacy policies, or business practices.

A link is not an endorsement – it’s just me pointing and saying, “Hey, that might help.”

5. Affiliate disclosure (just being honest)

Some links on MarketingForFools.com may be affiliate links. That means if you click through and make a purchase, I may earn a small commission – at no extra cost to you.

I only recommend products or services I’ve personally used, researched, or would recommend to a friend (or a fool I like). You are never obligated to use my links, and you’re welcome to find the same tool on your own.

Your trust matters more than a commission. Always has. Always will.

If a post contains affiliate links, I’ll say so clearly near the top or bottom.

6. Personal opinion & errors

This is a one-person show. All opinions expressed are my own and do not reflect those of any past or present employer, client, or cat (even the imaginary one).

I do my best to ensure accuracy, but I’m human. Information may become outdated, incomplete, or just plain wrong on a bad day. If you spot an error, kindly let me know – I’ll fix it and thank you publicly (or anonymously, if you prefer). This applies to free content and paid products.

7. No medical, legal, or financial advice

Just to be extra clear:
I talk about marketing, not medicine, law, or investing. If you need help with those, please find a licensed professional. I cannot diagnose your funnel or prescribe a CPA target – wait, that’s marketing. You get the idea.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MarketingForFools.com and its author shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this website, reliance on any information provided, or use of any paid product (toolkit, playbook, checklist, etc.).

In plain English: You try something you read here (or buy a toolkit and use it), and it doesn’t work (or worse, backfires) – I’m not responsible. You’re the captain of your own ship. I’m just the person shouting encouragement (and warnings) from the dock.

9. Changes to this disclaimer

I may update this page from time to time. Changes are effective immediately upon posting. If you’re a returning fool, it never hurts to glance at it again.
